Short trace showing a (very) quick four minute tow flight launching from 230feet QNH on the club winch. The vario trace is in red and is in 100s of feet per minute. Not a particularly great height or conditions that day as you can see!
This is more like it. A flight of mine on April 25th mid-afternoon on a previously poor light wind day. Trace shows quick tow up to 720 feet and then weak lift until contacting with a small thermal and climbing out before returning. Stopped on the way back for a play in more lift. Note that altimeter changed to record QFE and not QNH. Also interesting to see the vario which reflected the flight, very small thermals which kept falling out of!
